Writing an email is a great way to contact your public servants at the Black Hills National Forest. In the event your primary communication with a Forest representative is in-person or over the telephone, sending an agenda and summary email are a great way to create a permanent record of the interaction for your future reference. Remember to always be courteous, factual, and very clear in your communications with Black Hills National Forest Rangers — presenting yourself professionally is important for the reputation of all trail users!
